# Variable Options

### User prompt -&#x20;

open new window and asks the user to type a custom value for this variable, when user prompt selected, you have to specify instructions for the user.&#x20;

You still have to type a value for this variable so if the user cancel the the value will be taken from the value of the variable.

### Options -&#x20;

this feature available only when the variable type is set to "Text".

Use "Options" to let the user select one option from pre-made options.

after checking this checkbox you have to type the options with a comma between them, for example "Start,Middle,End".

* leaving the "user prompt" text box empty will results in vertical UI
